Here's Why Teen STDs Are Hitting All-Time Highs - Time
Recent data revealed that in 2015, the three nationally reported STDs increased for the second year in a row. Rates of chlamydia and gonorrhea were highest in young people between the ages of 15 and 24. Lack of sex education, fearlessness, and not getting tested could be to blame.

California's controversial ballot measure, Proposition 60, was rejected by a margin of almost 54%. In addition to requiring performers to use condoms in adult films, Proposition 60 would have also made the films' producers liable for violations - empowering any state resident to enforce the rule.

Scientists Achieve 'Functional Cure' for HIV in Monkey Model - Voice of America News
U.S. scientists have devised a way to put the virus that causes AIDS into remission, calling it a "functional cure." An experimental treatment regimen is being developed that could allow HIV-positive people to not have to take antiretroviral drugs every day to manage their disease.

Meet The First Openly LGBT Politician To Be Elected Governor - Refinery29

A Legacy of the 2016 Campaign: Talking About Sexual Assault - U.S. News & World Report
As the 2016 presidential campaign season comes to a close, college campuses renew their focus on eliminating rape culture. The next challenge is turning the national conversation around sexual assault from Trump's comments to society in general.

What's Your Sexual Destiny? Your Sex Life Can Be Helped or Harmed by Your Mindset - Medical Daily
Our inherent beliefs about sex can impact our relationships. New research found that people who strongly believe in sexual growth (i.e., that a good sex life takes effort) had better relationship and sexual satisfaction than those who believe in sexual destiny (i.e., that a good sex life comes from finding the right partner).
