Think You Don’t Have a Type? Science Says You Probably Do – Psychology Today

Research suggests people tend to date a consistent “type,” with exes often sharing similar personality traits and physical characteristics. However, more extroverted people show greater variety in their partners. Justin Lehmiller of the Kinsey Institute, an NCSH member, authored this article.

A study from England found that cervical cancer deaths have fallen dramatically since the introduction of the HPV vaccine. There were no cervical cancer deaths in women ages 20 to 24 from 2020 to 2024, where up to 90 percent of the group was vaccinated.

A new report finds that cervical cancer continues to disproportionately affect women in low-income and underserved communities, where lower HPV vaccination and screening rates contribute to higher rates of preventable illness and death.

Testosterone Therapy Labels and Limits May Change Under FDA Proposal – U.S. News and World Report

The FDA is proposing updates to testosterone replacement therapy labels, citing new evidence that the treatment does not increase the risk of major cardiovascular events and may be appropriate for some men with age-related low testosterone.
