The Great Dating Deficit: U.S. Singles Averaged Fewer Than 2 Dates Last Year – DatingNews.com 

 U.S. singles averaged fewer than two in-person dates last year, with men going on 48% more dates than women.  55% of singles spent nothing on dating, but of those who did spend, 47% said it was worth it. Research from NCSH member, the Kinsey Institute, is featured.

More young adults are embracing or exploring non-monogamy, with nearly half of Gen Z daters open to such relationships. New terms reflect the changing ways people structure and describe multi-partner relationships.  Research from NCSH member, the Kinsey Institute, is featured.

Many people addicted to “the chase” in relationships withdraw once intimacy deepens. Experts say this pattern can be changed through introspection, therapy, and learning to stay present when discomfort arises. NCSH arranged interviews with Rachel Needle, Shadeen Francis, and Chris Fariello.
